Ministry

Bethany Sunday Services

We come together to praise God, to learn from His Word, to encourage each other and to make Jesus known. Every Sunday 10:30 am.

BETHANY PRAYER GROUP

At Bethany, we love to pray. We believe it’s what keeps us connected to God. Jesus taught his disciples to pray inLuke 11 after they said to Him “Lord teach us to pray.”

We regularly meet to pray during the month (see calendar for dates), we focus on praying together as a church. Groups of people come together with one common purpose, which is to communicate with God and to allow Him to communicate
with us.

We have various prayer requests that come to us, some are from the Sunday meeting and some are through the prayer chain.

The prayer meeting is a place to be open, honest and to be real before God as He is with us, Just as He has promised in the Bible in Matthew 18:20“Where 2 or 3 are gathered, there I am with them.”

LADIES BIBLE STUDY

Studying scripture together, we are a group of ladies who meet at the Church every Tuesday morning during school term time between 10.00-12.00 to study the Bible and pray! Our aim is to pray, study the Bible and encourage each other
to grow in our Christian faith.

The Group consists of ladies of all age groups and we are always pleased to welcome anyone who would like to come! If you need more information please contact the Church office on 01291 425224 or through our the
website or
facebook.

BETHANY LIFE GROUPS

“Doing Life Together!”

Life groups have been running at Bethany since 2013, we have 6 of them and the aims of the groups are for people to connect with others, grow in their faith and enjoy God.

Life groups are for anyone who considers Bethany to be their home Church and is open to people from ages of 16 upwards and into the 90s.

The format of each group is that they are normally run by 2 people, they hold a meeting at their home or the church, and during the group, there will be a social element, some chats, and refreshments, some Bible teaching and prayer.

Your life group leader will be in contact during the month to just make sure your okay and support you if you have any pastoral needs.

It’s a fantastic way to connect with others from Church and to build fruitful and lasting friendships, but above all to grow in God.
